1. Grant proposal

SuperDapp.ai is requesting a 5-month grant of 325,000 SYS per month (1,625,000 SYS total) from the Syscoin eco-system to fund two initiatives: ongoing platform development and operations, and the construction of a strategic bridge that positions SuperDapp.ai as a first-mover within the zkSYS ecosystem.

This proposal is built around the zkSYS vision. While zkSYS prepares for launch, SuperDapp will deploy a bridge to Base, a high-liquidity, developer-active EVM chain, to build bridged assets, onboard new users, and cultivate a community that is ready to migrate into zkSYS the moment it goes live. The Base deployment is an on-ramp, not a destination.

In short: we build liquidity on Base now so that zkSYS inherits it later.

2. Strategic Opportunity: zkSYS

zkSYS represents a transformational upgrade for the Syscoin ecosystem; a zero-knowledge powered settlement layer that offers scalability, security, and EVM compatibility at a level that will attract serious builders and institutional liquidity. The window before zkSYS launch is a critical preparatory period.

3.1 The Challenge

ZK-based chains succeed when they launch with liquidity, active users, and integrated applications already waiting. Without this, even technically superior chains struggle to gain momentum in the early weeks. SuperDapp.ai intends to solve this for zkSYS.

3.2 Our Solution: The Base Bridge Strategy

Rather than remaining idle during the zkSYS build-out period, SuperDapp will deploy a bridge to Base; one of the most active EVM-compatible ecosystems today. This strategy delivers three compounding benefits:

  • Liquidity Accumulation: Bridged assets and TVL built on Base can be migrated directly into zkSYS at launch, giving the chain an immediate liquidity foundation.
  • Community Expansion: Base’s user base is large, technically engaged, and actively looking for new opportunities. SuperDapp will position zkSYS as the next destination for these users.
  • Battle-Tested Infrastructure: The bridge, smart contracts, and user flows will be fully audited and production-hardened before zkSYS goes live, eliminating launch-day risk.

Base is the bridge, not the destination. Every user we onboard, every asset we bridge, and every integration we complete is a direct investment in the zkSYS launch.

4. 5-Month Work Plan

Month 1: Foundation & Bridge Architecture

  • Begin smart contract development for cross-chain asset transfers
  • Platform bug fixes, performance improvements, and UX enhancements
  • R&D scoping for zkSYS compatibility layer

Month 2: Bridge Development & Testing

  • Complete core bridge smart contract development
  • Internal testnet deployment and security review
  • Ongoing platform maintenance

Month 3: Base Bridge Launch & Liquidity Onboarding

  • Mainnet deployment of the SuperDapp token bridge
  • Launch liquidity incentive campaigns targeting community (already in the works)
  • Begin onboarding Base-native projects interested in the zkSYS ecosystem and opening the door to bring them into zkSYS

Month 4: Liquidity Growth & zkSYS Integration Prep

  • Scale liquidity incentives; deepen integrations with AI agent developers
  • Establish partnerships with projects planning to build on zkSYS and open communipties / Ai agents on SuperDapp

Month 5: zkSYS Readiness & Migration Infrastructure

  • Finalize zkSYS bridge and migration smart contracts (testnet)
  • Execute community migration campaign: convert Base users into zkSYS early adopters
  • Full end-to-end testing of the Base → zkSYS user journey
  • Prepare follow-on proposal for zkSYS mainnet launch support phase

5. Budget Breakdown

The total grant request is 1,625,000 SYS distributed evenly over 5 months at 325,000 SYS per month. Funds are allocated across four primary categories:

Month SYS Amount Primary Focus
1 325,000 SYS Bridge architecture, zkSYS R&D scoping, platform maintenance
2 325,000 SYS Bridge development, security review, zkSYS compatibility research
3 325,000 SYS Base bridge mainnet launch, liquidity onboarding
4 325,000 SYS Liquidity scaling, zkSYS integration development
5 325,000 SYS zkSYS migration

6. Why This Benefits the Syscoin Community

  • zkSYS gets a launch partner: SuperDapp.ai will be production-ready on day one of zkSYS mainnet, providing immediate TVL and user activity.
  • New users enter the ecosystem: The Base bridge brings genuinely new participants who would not otherwise encounter zkSYS.

We are asking the community to support the zkSYS adoption infrastructure. The Base bridge is the vehicle; zkSYS is the destination.
