Welcome! This step-by-step guide will help you join the official Syscoin Discord server and access key channels for developers, governance, and ecosystem discussions.
1. Joining the Syscoin Discord Server
- Navigate to https://discord.com/invite/syscoin
- You’ll see a prompt to accept the invitation—click Accept Invite

If you don’t have a Discord account, you’ll be prompted to create one. Follow the on-screen steps to sign up or log in.

Language options: English is the default; select other languages to join localized channels
2. Get Verified
- After agreeing to the rules, the “Server Guide” will appear with several options:
- Click the option to complete verification—you’ll be taken to the #verify channel:
- Once verified, you’ll instantly receive the SYS ARMY role
3. Obtain the “Developers” Role
- When you first join the server, you will see a welcome screen:
Here, you’ll answer questions about your interests and select your roles.
- Choose the option that indicates you’re a developer or interested in development updates. You’ll be assigned the Developers role automatically.
If you missed the step above:
- Navigate to #unlock-dev-role
- The Syscoin Bot will have posted a message:
- Click the Developer button beneath the message to assign yourself the Developers role and get access to the channels for technical discussion, developers news, support and testnet faucets.
4. Governance Channels
Governance channels are openly accessible for all community members. To participate in governance discussions:
- Navigate to the “Governance” category on the left sidebar.
- Join channels such as:
- #general-gov-chat for general governance discussion.
- #foundation-proposals to see and discuss specific governance proposals.
5. Ecosystem Channels
Ecosystem channels provide updates and discussions on projects within the Syscoin ecosystem. Like governance channels, these are public:
- Find the “Ecosystem” category on the sidebar.
