You will have downloaded the wallet from the page https://paliwallet.com
Once a new wallet is installed and created, write down the seeds well.
You can get the address where to receive your SYS by clicking on "Receive", the wallet is already connected to the Syscoin Mainnet when installed.
The option that you say to connect, is to connect it to a website to carry out operations, such as https://bridge.syscoin.org. To make the Bridge, you must connect Pali Wallet.
To send and receive SYS in Pali Wallet it is not necessary to do anything more than install it and create a new wallet.
