Summary
This proposal provides a 2-month top-up to the current Syscoin Ecosystem Operations Budget.
Due to the significant decline in SYS price since the original proposal, the real USD value of the operational budget has dropped well below the level required to maintain existing commitments.
This top-up ensures uninterrupted operations, infrastructure stability, development continuity, and ecosystem support until the next full proposal is submitted at the end of this cycle.
This top-up runs concurrently with the final months of the existing proposal. A fresh, fully-revised long-term proposal will follow immediately after.
Reason for Adjustment
The original budget was denominated in SYS based on a much higher USD value. With current market conditions, the operational budget has effectively been reduced by a significant percentage.
To avoid reducing service levels, pausing infrastructure, or slowing development, this top-up simply restores the intended USD-equivalent operating capacity.
Requested Amount
Top-up of 746,000 SYS required to maintain the original budget requirements with reductions.
