How to get my syscoin back from a 2017 wallet with the syscoin core

Hello everyone,

I hope someone can help me with this because i’m stuck with it. I have seen on other topics that people have the same problem but there is no solution.

I bought syscoin at the end of 2017 and never look at it ever since, till now. I copied some data on my USB including my wallet.dat file but i don’t understand what I have to do to get my coins back because i don’t have the old wallet anymore.

If you need more information to help me, please ask.

Syscoin 4 Conversion from Syscoin 2

Thank you for helping me but it is useless because BM 1.2.3. is not loading the blocks and syscoin core 2 is not syncing with the network.

You should be able to perform the conversion regardless of whether the old wallet syncs. The most important thing relative to the old BM/Core is that you have your wallet.dat. (by the way, I suggest making multiple backups of wallet.dat before starting the process)
